Dear National Grid,
If the power stays off much longer I'm afraid the children might become at risk.
Not because of drinking water, or food but the unending stream of questions. Like repeatedly asking when the power is coming back on? Was this what it was like when you were a kid? What are we going to do now? Can we move our house?
There is also the issue of property damage from bored children finding Interesting things to throw, kick, hit, color, break etc.
Let's us not forget the fascination that every child under 10 has with fire. So every candle lit at night is a potential hazard for a nodding off parent.
So in conclusion, National Grid, the choice is simple, to preserve our children's health and well being and to motivate you further, we will simply ship our children to YOUR homes until this problem is resolved.
Thank you
